Please know before starting a project, my primary and preferred form of communication is e-mail.
What is needed to start:
Outline
Type of site: informational, personal blog
Have an idea of what pages you might like your site to have.
(PAGES WILL BE CREATED BLANK FOR YOU TO INSERT YOUR CONTENT!)
Ideas
Layout: Have a good idea of what you would like your site to look like.
Examples: color-schemes, sidebar locations, navigation placement, illustrations. Any special plugins you might want to use.
My Design Process:
1. A mock-up is created with the information gathered above. Please be as specific as possible. (No Charge)
2. Once design is approved a deposit of 50% is due. Changes can be made within reason: up to 6 revisions within the same design idea. (ie: font adjustment, color adjustments.)
3. A test site is set up for your approval of a “live sample”. This is exactly what your design will look like once uploaded to your host.
4. Final payment is made.
5. Files are uploaded to your host. If you decide to have further adjustments made there will be an additional fee.
What’s not included:
Hosting and Domain name
(Recommended hosts: Bluehost, Hostgator, JustHost)
Designs I created will NOT work with wordpress.com blogs, you must have a self-hosted WordPress account.
Graphic logo design
Installation of WordPress (unless discussed before final payment.)
Stock-Photos/illustrations are not included in pricing, you must purchase those on your own.
Once a mock up is reviewed the design will be held for 1 week. If no payment is made, your design may be used for another project.
Communication is very important when working on projects, I appreciate your responses within 24-48 hrs. Thank you for your understanding.
