I don’t join in the chaos of Christmas shopping on Black Friday. I use that day to stay in my PJ’s, make popcorn and curl up on the couch with a comfy blanket and pillow to watch White Christmas and Holiday Inn. If I have time I’ll even pull out Miracle on 34th Street, the original of course.

I dont’ participate in Black Friday shopping either. I usually spend this day putting up the tree, wrapping gifts and just hanging out with the kids. I do, however, take advantage of some of my family members love of Black Friday shopping…”If you happen to see this year’s coveted toy, will you pick it up for me?”…….

I don’t always go out on Black Friday, but when I have been, I find it to be such fun! At 6 in the morning there’s people everywhere. You make conversation while standing in the half-hour lines. If you have a friend with you, one can shop, while the other holds your place in line. It’s just kind of exciting.
